COMMUNITY SERVICE– FOOD BANK –Demand for food has greatly increased at the Rockdale Emergency Relief Food Bank. As we inventory our pantries, review coupons, and take advantage of Buy One…Get One promotions, we can pull together as a church and increase our donations to help the community. Bring in non-perishable items whenever it is convenient. We will be happy to transport your items. A collection bin is located in the foyer, as well as literature describing needed items. If you wish to make a personal on-site donation, please call 770-922-0165 for directions (on Iris Drive access road) and hours of operation.– CLOTHING DONATIONS –UCOR generosity is well known, but at this time we do not have the space, volunteers, or a logistical plan to process used clothing. We ask that you do not bring clothing items to UCOR. To ensure that items are put to good and timely use, please re-direct donations of clothing and household items to:—- Rockdale Community Clothes Closet —-1050 Oakland Ave(just past the Library, on the left after the 4-way stop)Tel: (770) 483-4291Donations accepted Mon thru Sat., 10:00 – 2:00 PM- or -—- Goodwill Industries Donation Center —-1543 Old McDonough Rd.(off Hwy 138, just past the Conyers Post Office, on the right;
